Starting from the Oltrarno area, the Rose Garden is a free green space offering the view off the Belgian sculptor Jean-Michel Folon and a marvellous Japanese Oasis, gift by the city of Kyoto. The garden is open all year long, but May is the best period to visit it!
GIARDINO DELL’IRIS
Always in the Oltrarno area, the Garden of Iris, nearby Piazzale Michelangelo. It opens at the end of April and only for the blooming of the Iris, a real magic in the heart of one of the most vital and authentic quarters of Florence.
